Type
Filler metal with extreme low thermal expansion.
classification
W.Nr.
1.3912, ~1.3990
Applications

CEWELD® NILO Alloy 36 is specifically developed for welding applications where a very low coefficient of thermal expansion is required. This minimizes the risk of solidification and reheating cracks, making it particularly suitable for precision components and dissimilar joints involving low-expansion alloys.

CEWELD® NILO Alloy 36 is specifically developed for welding applications where a very low coefficient of thermal expansion is required. This minimizes the risk of solidification and reheating cracks, making it particularly suitable for precision components and dissimilar joints involving low-expansion alloys.

Properties

CEWELD® NILO Alloy 36 is engineered to match the low thermal expansion characteristics of the base material Alloy 36. At the same time, it provides excellent resistance to both solidification cracking and reheat cracking. The alloy is comparable to material numbers 1.3912 and 1.3990.

NILO Alloy 36 is available for GTAW, GMAW and SAW.
